This is the best performing dual line indoor sport kite, period. Designed to be your partner in an endless dance, the Reflection is an optimum between grace and trickability indoors. It has been carefully developed for 3 years and has been highly tested in both Europe and the US.
It is large enough to provide sufficient sail area to fly low & slow and small enough to give the kite great balance for your throw and catch moves. Its frame is hybrid, a mix of stiff tapered wrapped carbon fiber tubes and pultruded carbon tubes, carefully matched to give the kite strength, durability, balance and lightness.
Bridling on the Reflection is ingenious. It has a DS-bridle (Dynamic/Static), which in normal flight will behave like a standard, stable 3-point bridle, while moving the tow points out when the kite is in fade position, allowing for great stability and a new realm of 3D moves. As an added bonus, the central part of the bridle won’t be easily caught behind the tail, because it’s stopped by the support line. The standoff system is unique, with one continuous rod bowed with both ends connected to the lower spreader, providing a very smooth sail profile and dynamic tension.
For the best indoor performance we recommend 50 lbs x 13ft Spectra lines. The relatively heavy line will be very visible and will fall down faster when doing slack line maneuvers. This, in turn, will help you avoid kite and line tangles. The 12ft length allows for the best throw and catch performance.
