When developing a kite, the designer always has to face the challenge of how to combine a number of opposing characteristics, such as precision and trickability, into one kite. We believe we have solved that paradox with the Jinx. Precision with short control inputs, Style with reliability, radical freestyle moves with ease of use…… It’s all in the Jinx.
The Jinx is a very well refined design. The first prototypes were flying in 2003 and winning competitions throughout Europe from 2004 to 2006. After further development in 2007, the kite was deemed ready to go on the market as our flagship model. And now it’s here, ready to be discovered by you.
Just like our other kites, the Jinx was designed to add Style to your flying, while maintaining stable tracking, sharp cornering and performs tricks you’ll ever know how to do. It has a sense of grace and elegance not often found in today’s high end sport kites.
One of the keys to its success lies in the carefully chosen frame mix, and the rigorously tested sail shape. But we added something extra to this kite, the Dynamic/Static Bridle (or DS Bridle for short).
The DS Bridle allows the Jinx to fly stable and precise without the need for excessively large arm movements, while at the same time offering a very “New School” control in Fade and Fade-based maneuvers. The DS Bridle is one of the factors that makes the Jinx a competition winning kite and just plain fun to fly.

The Jinx is available in 2 stock color options and a Standard or Ultra Light frame configuration. Being designed for use in competitions and serious fun alike, we have both an Ultra Light and a Standard version of the Jinx available. Unlike many other kites where the different versions will feel entirely different, both versions of the Jinx will feel very similar. Instead of choosing entirely different frame sets, we opted to use tubes in the UL with the same feel and spring-back as the Standard, just a bit lighter. This allows for effortless swapping between the versions and minimal adjustment time.
