Over the winter, the team at Focus took on this challenge and even took it one step further. We realized not everyone has access to an indoor facility, so we wanted this kite to excel indoors but also perform well outdoors in little to no wind. The result of our efforts is the Echo.
Throughout the design process, we handed off prototypes at various indoor and outdoor events. The feedback we received was outstanding and the Echo’s performance was surpassing even our expectations. The pultruded .125 tubes makes the frame less flexible compared to similar kites. This also helps makes doing throw and catch maneuvers, which truly add another dimension to indoor flying, easier with the Echo. Additionally, it helps the kite hold its shape when being flown outdoors in light wind.
When you take the Echo outdoors in little to no wind, you will discover that you have a kite that you can effortlessly fly and still perform all the basic and advanced tricks.
